What it is
Skin boosters are hyaluronic acid injected in fine amounts into the skin itself, rather than shaped underneath it. What they work on is the quality of the skin — hydration, fine crepey lines, the way light sits on the surface — on the face, the neck, around the eyes or on the backs of the hands. Bio-remodeling products, the thicker non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid placed at a few fixed points and allowed to spread, belong to the same family and act on firmness as well as on hydration.

Honestly
A booster does not add contour and will not stand in for filler where the problem is lost volume; because it is delivered through many small punctures, skin of Fitzpatrick type III to VI can darken temporarily at the injection points, so the injection grid is kept conservative, sun protection is part of the plan, and an area threaded or waxed in the last few days is left to settle first.
